This season the ROOTS tour is organizing grassroots wake focused events.

 A great way for family’s to come out and ride. Demos will be available from several manufacturers with cheap pulls. You will get a chance for competition practice and an opportunity to test out the wake on several different models of boats.  These events will be very rider focused and offer a great way for up and comers to get quality time behind a real wakeboard boat. There will be professional instructors from the Roots crew and Basecamp.

Summerski Lake and Malibu Boats are playing host to the first stop of The Roots Wakeboard and Wakeskate AM Series. This event is a grassroots focused demo and contest series where riders of all ages and abilities can come out and shred for the day! 

Board and Boat Demos:

 For those of you that have been drooling over the brand new line up of 2010 wakeboards and skates but just aren’t sure which board set-up you want to shred all season - never fear! The Roots tour is following a two day format: Contest one day, board and boat demos the other. We want to get EVERYONE out on the water having a good time, and the opportunity to try out the latest and greatest in wake equipment. There will be plenty of boards to demo behind the fully loaded contest towboat. All ages and abilities welcome!

The Roots Contest Series:

 There will be three competitive stops to the Roots series, two series qualifiers and the Ontario Provincial Championships. This contest is for everyone from newbie riders, all the way up to advanced. Make sure to come out to all three stops to gain points that will help with your seeding for Provincials, Nationals, Wakestock!

Men’s and Women’s Wakeboard Categories:

Newbie Boys and Girls: Free Entry + WSWO membership
Beginner: $30 + WSWO membership
Intermediate: $30 + WSWO membership
Open: $40 + WSWO membership

Wakeskate Categories:

Amateur Wakeskate: $30 + WSWO Membership
Open Wakeskate: $40 + WSWO Membership
Women’s Wakeskate: $30 + WSWO Membership
